I passed my fellowship assessment. Here’s what I learned.
You've probably heard the clichés: “The distinction process is a journey”. “The panel finds you”.
It turns out they're true.
But what I didn’t appreciate was that my successful idea would emerge from work I was already doing, rather than from sitting down and inventing a ‘Fellowship’ project.
