Photography for me is about getting outdoors, immersing myself in nature, and bringing my ideas to life, whether through a single frame or through a panel of images.

I don’t specialise in any one type of photography. (But I keep returning to landscapes, particularly in the Peak District near where I live.)

I work primarily in digital, where I can control the outcome. (But I also work with film and cyanotype, where I can’t.)

I aim to get the shot right in camera. (But I also enjoy post-production, especially working on composites that blend multiple elements.)

I enjoy being outside capturing the moment. (But I also enjoy writing about my photographs to understand what they are about.)
